RESOLUTION - Establishing the City’s positions on matters that may come before the 109th United States Congress during its 1st session in 2005.


LEGISLATIVE, RULES AND ETHICS COMMITTEE recommends "BE ADOPTED"
Councilwoman Bonnie Sue Cooper-Asking for help from all State Representatives in Washington DC. These are all on-going projects. Money amounts will have to be added later. Bonnie Sue went over list of items for the legislative session.

 Greg Mills and Jim Pyle will make a presentation on Police Retirement. There was discussion on additions to benefits for Police Department personnel. This item needed to be added to the resolution going before the full council next week regarding state legislative priorities.
 
 There will be a presentation on the Restoration of the Professional Building at 11th & Grand Avenue. Lathrop & Gage representatives presented information to the committee regarding renovations to Lofts in the Professional Building. There would be a mixture of affordable housing along with market value unites available in the building.
