180848 (Sub.)Amending Article VIII of the Administrative Code of Kansas City, Missouri, relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1075, 2-1076, 2-1077, 2-1078, 2-1079 and 2-1080, enacting in lieu thereof sections of like numbers, updating and authorizing our job classification and pay system, increasing the starting pay for 3 job classifications to $11.25 per hour, creating a new Director of Public Safety job classification, adjusting the pay range for three job classifications, eliminating three job classifications that are no longer utilized, and establishing an effective date.

180880 Declaring certain real property generally located east of Maplewoods Parkway, north of N.E. 94th Street, and south of N.E. 96th Street, surplus to the City's needs; authorizing the Director of Public Works to offer the sale of the City’s interest in this real property in accordance with City regulations, and execute related documents to complete the transfer of the real property while reserving easements, as necessary, for any existing City owned sewer, storm water, and water line infrastructure on the said property; and directing the City Clerk to record this Ordinance with the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Clay County, Missouri.

 1. Staff from the City Auditor's Office will present a Special Report: Implementation Status of Audit Recommendations Fiscal Years 2014-2018.
 2. Staff from the City Auditor's Office will present a Performance Audit: Addressing IT Network Vulnerabilities.
 3. There may be general discussion regarding current Finance and Governance Committee Issues.
 4. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
(5) confidential or privileged communications with auditors, pursuant to subsection 17.
(6) preparation, including discussions, for negotiations with employee groups, pursuant to subsection 9.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
