Authorizing a $182,183.66 agreement with SK Design Group Inc. for design professional services for three sanitary sewer improvement projects, in connection with sanitary sewer projects at N.E. 39th and Prather Road, N.E. 32nd and N. Garfield and N.E. 55th and N. Bennington; reducing an appropriation in the amount of $182,183.66 in the Sewer Special Assessment Bond Fund 1996; appropriating it to the various project accounts; designating requisitioning authority; and assessing the properties benefited.

Prospect Avenue; reducing an appropriation in the amount of $396,348.00 in the Sewer Special Assessment Bond Fund 1996; appropriating it to project account no. AL-3210-897191-B; authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $516,588.00 for the project; authorizing the Director of Water Services to expend up to $264,230.00 from previously appropriated funds; authorizing assessment of the costs against the properties benefited; and recognizing an emergency.

Nevada Avenue West 982 feet, 837 feet lying outside the City Limits, and East 1,068 feet, on NW 136th Street, and 165 feet North and 205 feet South on Nevada Avenue, and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance.

Amending Chapter 62, Code of General Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, by repealing Sections 62-48, 62-49, 62-53, 62-54 and 62-55 and enacting in lieu thereof new Sections 62-48, 62-49 and 62-53, expanding prohibited practices to include refuse or recycling containers remaining on a curb or right of way for more than 24 hours and establishing penalties for violations of article I and II .
