City Planning Staff, explained that the ordinance was for the purpose of waiving payments in lieu of taxes for the project submitted by Wallstreet Towers, LLC for the Downtown Loop Planning Area. In brief Wallstreet Towers, LLC has made considerable payments and improvement in the downtown loop and has ask that additional up front payments be wavied in lieu of those additional taxes and improvements. This waiver will help to expend the continuation of projects in a timely manner.

Travis Kiefer, Public Works, stated that the ordinance was for the plat of Stateline Station unit 2. This plat is for the most part routine in nature. This ordinance accepts various easements and agreements and establishes grades on public ways. There is no opposition to the plat but one point of interest is that it sits on the boarder of Missouri and Kansas and will draw retail, comercial business from the Kansas side as well the Missouri side. Revenue will benefit the Grandview School District.
