Don Gustafson, City Development stated that ordinances 980721 and 980723 are companions. He stated that the ordinance is an application to rezone a preliminary plat located at N. Antioch. Currently the area is zone for CP1. Aproval of the ordinance will allow the area to be rezoned from CP1and R1b to R2a to allow duplex lots. City Plan Commission recommended approval of the ordinance. Councilmember Ford expressed concerns regarding a meeting with neighbors. Mr. Ford requested that the ordinances be held for two weeks to allow the applicant to meet with the neighbors.
