Approving the plat of North Lakes Meadows, an addition in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri; accepting various easements; establishing grades on public ways; accepting certain lands for park purposes forever, in accordance with Section 58 of Article III of the Charter of Kansas City; authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute certain agreements; and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance and attached cooperative agreement.

Lee Dixson, Public Works Department testified on behalf of the ordinance stating all of the grades and closures have been checked and recommended approval. Committee concurs with staff's recommendation.

RESOLUTION - Authorizing an application to the Missouri Development Finance Board (MDFB) for authorization of state tax credits up to the amount of $9,500,000.00 to support the expansion and adaptive construction of the Liberty Memorial and Liberty Memorial Museum, and the design and construction of the Sesquicentennial Fountain on Pershing Road, north of Liberty Memorial.

Bob Langenkamp, City Development gave a thorough overview of the resolution. He stated the purpose of the resolution will allow construction of a fountain located near Pershing Road, to authorize a application to be filed for state tax credits. Mark McHenry, Parks and Recreation and John Laney, Hallmark Foundation also testified giving their support of the resolution. Committee recommended that the resolution be adopted.

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, by changing the land use designation from regional business and medium density residential uses to medium density residential uses for an approximately 67.19 acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of N.W. 128th Street and N.W.
