John Eckardt, City Planning testified on behalf of this Ordinance. He testified about the setback of the right of way as well as the monuments signs for which this Ordiannce would provide. City Plan Commission has approved this plan and recommeds approval.

Oak Trafficway on the southeast, N.E. 32nd Street on the north and Burlington Street (Missouri Route 9) on the southwest, from the City of North Kansas City, Missouri into the City of Kansas City, Missouri; and directing the City Manager to file certified copies of this ordinance with the required Clay County officials. John Eckardt, CIty Planning Department, testified on behalf of this Ordinance. His testimony outlined the purpose of the project. he related this project to that of Ordinance 130629. THe Children's Fountain is in the CIty limits of N. Kansas City, Missouri, but the City of Kansas City Missouri maintains and controlls the Fountain. The purpose of this project is for N. Kansas City to annex the Fountain area into Kansas City, Missouri. Mike Shumaker discussed the annexation from N. Kansas City, Missouri.

The proposed dog park is to be in N. Kansas City, Missouri. This Ordinance would detach this piece of land from Kansas City Missouri so it can be attached to N. Kansas City Missouri. Mike Shumaker discussed the annexation from N. Kansas City, Missouri.

 1. Discussion regarding the Mayor/Council Strategic Planning Session Follow-up.
 
 Chairman Ford postponed this discussion for one week because Jim Giles from the Mayor's office was not present to make the presentation as requested.
 
 2. Discussion on the Economic Incentive Policy.
 
 3. There may be discussion of Council Priorities relating to economic development.
 
 4. There may be general discussion regarding current Planning, Zoning and Economic Development issues.
 
 5. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss: (1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1; (2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2; (3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or (4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
