Larry Stice, explained the purpose of this ordinance. No public testimony. This ordinance will correct addressing problems.

Approving the Petition to establish the Waldo Community Improvement District; establishing the Waldo Community Improvement District generally located on either side of Wornall Road between Gregory Boulevard on the north and 85th Street on the south in Kansas City, Jackson County Missouri; and directing the City Clerk to report the creation of the District to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Approving the plat of The Woods of Somerset, an addition in Kansas City, Jackson Repealing Ordinance No. 041020 that approved the plat of The Woods of Somerset and enacting a new ordinance approving the plat of The Woods of Somerset, an addition in Jackson County, Missouri; accepting various easements; establishing grades on public ways; authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute certain agreements; and authorizing the City Clerk to record this ordinance and attached agreement.

Travis Kieffer, City Planning and Development, and Maggie Moran, Law Department, answered questions from the committee concerning changes to the ordinance. Patricia Jensen and Mike White, White Goss Law Firm, testified on behalf of the ordinance. This ordinance will approve a plat to subdivide the property in accordance with the city codes and state statutes.

 City Planning and Development staff will present "Recommendations for Development Review Improvements."Tom Coyle, City Planning and Development, distributed a copy of the recommendations and critiqued on each recommendation. A copy is on file in the City Clerk's Office. There may be a Closed Session to discuss a Real Estate Transaction pursuant to RSMo 610.021(2) and a Legal Matter pursuant to RSMo 610.021(1). 3:03 p.m. Councilman Ford moved and Councilwoman Circo seconded the motion to go into closed session to discuss a legal matter. The motion was unanimously passed by roll call vote - Gottstein out. 3:30 p.m. Councilman Ford moved and Councilwoman Circo seconded the motion to come out of closed session to discuss a legal matter. The motion was unanimously passed by roll call vote - Gottstein out.
