 1. There may be an update regarding Kemper Arena.

Chairman Taylor provided an update on the Kemper Arena RFP process. The City is moving forward with the process to choose a redevelopment plan for the Kemper Arena site. A Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued May 20, 2015 seeking ideas to redevelop the facility/site, located on approximately 10 acres of City-owned property in the West Bottoms area. The City has received proposals from two developers: Foutch Brothers and Steven Brothers Sports Management Company. In mid-February, the Selection Committee, comprised of city representatives and elected officials, interviewed each development team. While the interviews were productive, additional information has been requested by the Selection Committee in order to make a recommendation for the highest and best use of Kemper Arena. Once the information requested has been received, the Selection Committee aims to make a recommendation to the full Council for approval in March. We look forward to public hearings later this year, including a public hearing we will hold at Kemper Arena.

 2. There may be general discussion regarding current Planning, Zoning and Economic Development issues.

Chairman Taylor requested a moment of silence for Senator Bland.
