Declaring certain real property generally located in the Beacon Hill Redevelopment Area in Kansas City, Missouri, surplus to the City's needs; authorizing the Director of General Services to offer the sale of the City’s interest in this real property in accordance with City regulations, to later convey it; and execute related documents to complete the transfer of the real property to continue development of the Beacon Hill project.

This Ordinance declares certain real state properties located in the Beacon Hill Redevelopment Area in Kansas City, Missouri. The City in partnership with land clearance redevelopment acquire this property, 186 units will be improved from a 3 million improvement loan, this is another step to get all the properties sold.

This Ordinance authorizes the Director of Public Works to execute a 10 year license agreement with the Marlborough East Neighborhood Association for a portion of the property located at 3001 East 81st Street, Kansas City, Missouri. This is for general maintenance and aesthetic site improvement purposes at no cost for the City, since residents will do their own cleaning and maintenance.

Authorizing the City Manager to execute the Thirteenth Amendment of Master Development Agreement and Fourth Amendment to City Parking Easement and Agreement with Kansas City Live, LLC, and any documents related thereto, for the purposes of providing certain financial incentives in connection with approximately 300 residential units to be constructed on Block 139 in the KC Live entertainment area; establishing the Special Obligation Series 2019A Bond Fund; estimating and appropriating revenues in the amount of $17,500,000.00 in the Series 2019A Bond Fund; designating requisitioning authority; declaring the City’s intent to reimburse itself from bond proceeds; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide financial incentives for approximately 300 residential units to be constructed on Block 139 in the KC Live entertainment area located on Walnut and Main Street.

This Ordinance establishes the Levi rate for the Levis General Debt and Interest, including the Museum Special Revenue Funds and all properties in Kansas City subject to taxation on January 1, 2018. This Provides for the extension of these levies by the Director of Finance.

This is required to be done for the City by charter.The Committee Sub changes the date were Park and Recreation Commissioners meets to submit their budgets.

Amending Chapter 60, Code of Ordinances, entitled Sewers and Sewage Disposal by repealing Sections 60-2, 60-3, 60-9, and 60-30 and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like number and subject matter, that adjust charges for sewer service and impose a two percent payment in lieu of taxes upon the City Sewer Fund’s gross revenues derived from sewer services to the City’s residential and commercial customers to be paid to the General Fund and charged to residential and commercial customers; and establishing an effective date.

This ordinance adjusts the charges for sewer services and imposes a two percent payment on taxes upon the City Sewer Fund’s gross revenues. These revenues are derived from the sewer services to the City’s residential and commercial customers, and are paid to the General Fund.This charged is for residential and commercial customers, setting the sewer rate at nine and a half percent per sewer.
