Ordinance 000914, 000915 and 000916 are companion cases. Larry Stice, City Development, stated that the ordinances are downzonings of residential lots. Ordinance 000914 is a request to rezone two adjacent residential lots on the east side of 1600 & Jefferson. The 16th & Jefferson Urban Renewal plan approved the availability of tax abatement for single family residential. Ordinance 000915 will rezone a residential lot on the west side of 2300 block of Jarboe. Ordinance 000916 is to rezone two residential lots on the west side of Belleview. Approval of these ordinances will comply with the requirements of the 23rd and Jarboe Urban Renewal Plan.

He stated that the amendment will approve a preliminary development plan for a 1,656 acre industrial park for an addition of a 157,500 sq. ft. trucking company terminal building and haul building with 640 parking spaces on 70 acres at the corner of N. Norfleet Road and NE 41st St. Staff and City Plan Commission recommended approval with certain conditions.
