TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE recommends "HOLD ON AGENDA (10/24/2007)" This legislation amends Chapter 38, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 38-83 through 38-100.5 and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like number and subject matter and enacting new Sections 38-100.6 through 38-100.9. These amendments reflect the recommendations of the 2006 Mason Tillman disparity study, narrowly tailor the requirements of MBE/WBE certification, refine standards for participation credit, create an appeals process for denials and revocations of certification, make the program applicable to all tax abating agencies, and create a phased graduation.
