Condemning and taking street and temporary right-of-way on private properties for the construction and maintenance of Red Bridge Road, between Holmes Road and Blue River Road, said properties all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations by the City of Kansas City; consenting to the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney, on behalf of the City; and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds in Jackson County, Missouri.

Council member Becky Nace recommeded to hold this ordinance and also Ordinance 061249 for two weeks. This would allow for more talks with the residents in the area.

To change and re-establish the grades on Raytown Road for street, bridge and drainage improvements along Raytown Road from Sta. 54+60 to Sta. 67+75 (approximately 1218.92 feet); and from Sta. 73+50 to Sta. 85+68 (approximately 2533.92 feet) all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri


OPERATIONS COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS, CONSENT"
Ralph Davis, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize a grade change for certain portions of Raytown Rd. for construction of two bridges in the area.

 There will be a presentation by CIMO regarding the "End of Year Progress Report". Ralph Davis, CIMO, testified on behalf of this presentation. A copy of the presentation is on file in the City Clerk's Office. Jake Jacobs, Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled, will give a report on the services they provide and their funding needs for the next fiscal year (2007-08). Jake Jacobs, Jackson County Board of Services, testified on behalf of this presentation. Mr. Jacobs is here to ask for funding for the services in next years budget in an additional amount of $99,000. This will bring the total amount to $300,000.00. The committee recommended to ask the surrounding cities for additional funding also. Phillip Yelder, Director of the Human Relations Department, will give a presentation regarding the "MBE/WBE Monthly Report". Phillip Yelder, Human Relations, testified on behalf of this presentation. A copy of the presentation is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
