| Condemning and taking street and temporary right-of-way on private properties for the construction and maintenance of Red Bridge Road, between Holmes Road and Blue River Road, said properties all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations by the City of Kansas City; consenting to the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney, on behalf of the City; and authorizing the City Clerk to file this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds in Jackson County, Missouri.

Jake Jacobs, Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled, will give a report on the services they provide and their funding needs for the next fiscal year (2007-08).
Jake Jacobs, Jackson County Board of Services, testified on behalf of this presentation. Mr. Jacobs is here to ask for funding for the services in next years budget in an additional amount of $99,000. This will bring the total amount to $300,000.00. The committee recommended to ask the surrounding cities for additional funding also.
