Approving an amendment to a previously approved community unit project plan in District R1b (One-family dwelling district), on approximately 211.82 acres generally bounded by Missouri Highway 169 on the east, N.W. 108th Street on the south, N.W. Cookingham Drive (Missouri Highway 291) on the north, and a property line located west of N. Holly Street on the west to allow development of to permit development of single-family lots on a site formerly proposed for school development, along with other minor revisions, for a total of 609 single-family lots and several private open space and stormwater detention tracts (Case No. 10872-CUP-26).

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 80-70 (District R-3), 80-80 (District R-4), 80-90 (District R-5), 80-213 (Conditional uses permitted for unlimited time), and Appendix A (KCIA General Planned Development District), Sections 2.4 (GP-4), and 2.5 (GP-5) and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like numbers and subject matters to allow certain uses such as banks, savings and loans, retail sales (not to include a pharmacy), beauty shops, barbershops, and restaurants as accessory uses within residential structures for the elderly.
