This ordinance will terminate the Baughman Road Urban Renewal Plan for the area generally located at the southwest corner of NW Barry Rd and N Platte Purchase Dr. The Barry Woods Station Postal Facility has been constructed, as the entire URA is owned by the U.S. Postal Service, there appears to be no further need for LCRA assistance and it seems prudent to terminate the Plan.

Approving the "353" Development Plan submitted by the Lucas Place Lofts Redevelopment Corporation for the property located at 323 W. 8th Street, which is generally located on the south side of 8th Street between the vacated May Street and Central Street; declaring the area included in such plan to be a blighted area and its redevelopment necessary for the preservation of the public peace, prosperity, health, safety, morals and welfare; authorizing the Director of Finance to enter into a contract with the Lucas Place Lofts Redevelopment Corporation; authorizing certain tax abatement within the plan area; and granting Lucas Place Lofts Redevelopment Corporation all of the rights, powers and immunities provided by law for use by an urban redevelopment corporation.
