Appropriating the sum of $200,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the Dangerous Building account and recognizing an emergency.


NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMITTEE recommends "ADVANCE AND DO PASS, DEBATE"
David Park, Deputy Director of Neighborhood and Community Services, stated that the funds would allow the department to demolish 20 to 25 structures. All of the structures scheduled for demolition have been reviewed. About 45% of the structures to be demolished was due to fire damage.

RESOLUTION - Approving the 2007-2011 Consolidated Plan and the 2007 Action Plan in accordance with the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, as amended, authorizing submission of said Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and certifying said Plan.

Winterrond - Center Planning Marquita Henry - Neighborhoods United Together Mark Anderson - Save, Inc. Julie Riddle - Family Conservancy Jim Rice - Northland Neighborhoods Victor Martin - Youth Build Ron Cage, Dominick Trotter - students in Youth Build Sister Berta - Operation Breakthrough Eva Schulte - CCO (Church Community Organization) Councilwoman Saundra McFadden-Weaver - 3rd District Octavia Southall Linda Russell - Sheraton Estates Cynthia Canaday Councilwoman Hermann stated that testimony will be taken at the next meeting and conclude at the end of that testimony.
 
 There may be a general discussion of current Neighborhood Development and Housing Committee issues. There may be Closed Session pursuant to Sections RSMo. 610.021(1) and (2) to discuss legal or real estate matters.
