Approving a $660,102.30 Utility Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for adjustment of the City's utility facilities in conjunction with roadway improvements in the Grandview Triangle area, Route 71, Jackson County, from Red Bridge Road to Blue Ridge Boulevard; authorizing the Director of Water Services to expend $855,000.00 for the project; and authorizing the Director of Finance to return unexpended appropriations to the appropriate account.

RESOLUTION - Declaring it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grades on Red Bridge Road along the proposed centerline of Red Bridge Road (Sta. 5+29.38) to the centerline of Blue River Road (Sta. 54+49.32), all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Eric Bosch, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize amendment of a contract for the design and construction of the Shoal Creek Patrol Station. The new design will include some of the items listed below: 1. Provide better handicapped parking access 2. Add a second stairway that leads to a second exit for the facility, and 3. Extend the basement for future storage.

Condemning and taking private property for public purpose for construction of a fire station located in the vicinity of Swope Parkway and Chestnut Avenue, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations by the Director of City Planning and Development; consenting to the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney, on behalf of the City, and directing the City Clerk to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
