There was a public hearing on this ordinance and Jerry Riffle, provided a presentation to this ordinance. This Community Improvement District, (CID) members consist of Children’s Mercy Hospital, UMKC, Truman Medical Center, and Ronald McDonald House. Each of these members are leading the CID process and will have representation on the CID Board. This project will include a defined Benefit District in which the Housing Improvement will be implemented. The Benefit District will have an advisory committee which will include representatives from the neighborhoods surrounding Hospital Hill. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
