Olofu Agbaji, City Planning, made the presentation on this ordinance. This ordinance requests rezoning an 8 acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of Blue Parkway and E. 63rd Trafficway, approximately 1,200 feet north of E. 63rd Trafficway, from District R-7.5 to District B4-2, and approving a development plan to allow for a 62,000 square foot self-storage warehouse. Daniel Jud, Clockwork Architect, provided images of single story metal prefabricated structures for site. This will be used to create a welcoming storefront appearance as well as using environmental graphics and signage for the entry doors. This facility will not be visible from the street.

RESOLUTION - Amending the Red Bridge Area Plan by changing the recommended land use on about 30 acres, generally located at the southwest corner of Hwy 71 and I-435 (specifically at the northeast corner of E. 107th Street and Cypress Avenue) by changing the recommended land use from residential low and residential medium to residential medium-high land use designation. There will be 10 multi-family buldings, 248 units with 218 parking spaces.

Olofu Agbaji, City Planning, made the presentation on this ordinance. This plan was approved back in 2013 allowing for 336 units of multi-tenant apartment buildings. This action will change the 3 approved office commercial buildings to have 50 additional units of villas and apartment buildings. This ordinance approves an amendment to a previously approved development plan in District MPD on approximately 19 acres generally located at the southeast corner of Highway 169 and N.W. 96th Street. This will allow for the modification to Phase IV, by changing the uses from commercial to residential. Nick Mason, developer, stated this change will add to the community with townhomes and detached single family units.
