RESOLUTION - Declaring it necessary to re-establish the grades on N.W. Barry Road from N. Conant Avenue to N. Congress Avenue, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City.

Ralph Davis, CIMO, testified on behalf of this resolution. This resolution is to change the grade on a piece of NW Barry Rd. for future improvements.

RESOLUTION - Declaring it necessary to change and re-establish the grades on 17th Street from 161.35 feet east of the East line of Belmont Avenue (Sta. 25+24.84) to 441.35 feet east of the East line of Belmont Avenue (Sta. 28+04.84), all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Ralph Davis, ICMO, testified on behalf of this resolution. This resolution is to change and reestablish the grade on 17th Street and Belmont Avenue. The area is getting new curbs and street repaving.

Amending Ordinance No. 060159, adopted February 23, 2006 to add Tract 88A for condemning and taking permanent and temporary easements on private properties for the improvement and maintenance of NW Barry Road, from N. Conant Avenue to N. Congress Avenue, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

Ted Anderson, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize an amendment to a condemnation ordinance from February. There is a new property owner for one of the properties. The deed in which the property transferred is a thirty foot gap.

Condemning and subordinating certain KCPL easements, on public properties for the construction and maintenance of Fire House Road and 93rd Street all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Ted Anderson, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance is also for condemnation. In order for the city to build the new Fire Station, on 93rd and Bannister Rd, they had to replat the territory.

Authorizing the City Manager to execute an access agreement with the American Hereford Association for the construction of a parking lot at 1501 Wyandotte; and authorizing a change order with Clarkson Construction Company in the amount of $250,000.00 to fulfill the obligations under the access agreement.

Condemning and taking street, storm drainage, and temporary rights-of-way on private properties for the construction and maintenance of Longview Road, between Grandview Road, and Sunnyslope Drive, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Ted Anderson, CIMO, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This is a street project at Longview Rd. just off 71 Highway for storm drainage for construction and maintenance. There are nine property owners that the city will be taking property from.

Approving a $602,976.00 Amendment No. 3 with HNTB Corporation for Contract No. 874, Line Creek/Rock Creek Project Area Basin Overflow Control Plan Project; authorizing the Director of Water Services to expend $602,976.00 for this project, subject to future appropriations; and authorizing the Director of Finance to return unexpended appropriations to the appropriate account.

Authorizing a $3,670,435.00 one-year renewal of Agreement No. 020210 with Custom Lighting Services, LLC, for streetlight repair and maintenance in all Council Districts; reestimating and appropriating revenue in the amount of $467,095.00 in the Public Works Working Capital Fund; and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $3,586,960.00 for the project.
