| RESOLUTION - Approving the selection of neighborhoods for the Neighborhood Improvement Program.
NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMITTEE recommends "IMMEDIATE ADOPTION" David Park, Neighborhood and Community Services, explained the process involved in the selection of neighborhoods for the Neighborhood Improvement Program and steps to implement the program. Mr. Parks answered questions from the committee. Committee members commented on the program, the implementation of the program and neighborhood needs. Les Washington, Neighborhood and Community Services, testified regarding the implementation of the program.
The following neighborhood association representatives testified in support of the resolution and spoke about problems within their neighborhoods:

| 060233 (Sub.) | RESOLUTION - Supporting the recommendation of the tow lot site selection committee by directing the City Manager, or his designee, to work with the Northeast Industrial Association to address their concerns about the facility design and placement of the tow lot in their area and to provide future communications with the Association to address concerns, if any, regarding facility operational issues in the future.
NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMITTEE recommends "IMMEDIATE ADOPTION AS A COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE" David Park, Neighborhood and Community Services, stated this resolution asks for the City Council's support for the selection of the site for the new tow lot and reviewed the changes to the resolution in the committee substitute.
