Authorizing a five year agreement with Flacks Enterprises, Ltd, d/b/a Thrifty, for Project No. C000348 - Off-Airport Vehicle Parking Permit Agreement at Kansas City International Airport.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize the execution of an Off Airport Parking Permit Agreement at the KCI Airport. This is a one (1) year agreement with four (4) one year renewal options. The agreement will allow Thrifty Car Rental to access the airport with shuttle buses for the purpose of transporting its off airport parking customers. The annual revenue for the Aviation Department will be $30,000.00.

Authorizing Amendment No. 2 with Tele-Trip, Inc., for Project No. C000417 - Airport Business Center Concession Agreement at Kansas City International Airport to reduce the amount of leased space.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize a second amendment which consist of the Airport Business Center Concession Agreement with Tele-Trip Inc. This ordinance would also reduce the amount of leased space. The total square footage removed from the concession agreement is two thousand one hundred thirty-six square feet (2,136 sq. ft.)

Authorizing a fifty year right-of-way agreement between the City and Williams Pipe Line Company at the Kansas City International Airport.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize a right-of-way agreement between the City of Kansas City, Missouri and Williams Pipeline Co. This ordinance would permit Williams Pipeline Co. to continue to maintain, inspect and operate the existing Aviation fuel pipeline across KCI property. Also the ordinance would allow the company to lay, construct, alter, and remove the pipeline if needed. The agreement is for fifty years, and can be canceled within thirty days.
