Authorizing a one year $60,000.00 agreement with four one-year renewals with Ameritech Data Networking Solutions (Ameritech) for Project No. C000657 - Bay Network at Kansas City International Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $60,000.00.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize a contract for parts and maintenance service for an existing system at the KCI Airport. This ordinance would provide for several network systems including the financial system, file server, print server and internet server.

Authorizing an $87,560.00 Tenant Reimbursement Agreement with Northwest Airlines for Project No. D66 - Northwest Airlines Gate 61A Improvements at Kansas City International Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $87,560.00.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize the Aviation Department to reimburse Northwest Airline for improvements to Gate 61A. These improvements of the gate include an expansion of nine hundred feet (900ft.). The improvements also include relocation and installation of new glass walls, doors, frames and existing ramp to expand hold room areas.

Authorizing a $1,372,875.00 Tenant Reimbursement Agreement with Southwest Airlines for Project No. 20000009 - Southwest Airlines Terminal B Improvements at Kansas City International Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $1,372,875.00.


AVIATION COMMITTEE recommends "DO PASS"
Russell Widmar, Director of the Aviation Department, testified on behalf of this ordinance. This ordinance would authorize the Avaition Department to reimburse Southwest Airline for improvements in Terminal B. The improvements consist of an addition to the baggage make-up area, reworking of baggage claim G, reconfiguring the inbound conveyor and installing a relocated passenger loading bridge at Gate 31A. Also included will be improvements to the holdroom space and apron striping. There were four (4) bids for the project.
