121032 Authorizing acceptance of an $117,250.00 grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation; estimating revenue in the amount of $117,250.00; appropriating that amount to the Share the Road Safety Education account in the Capital Improvements Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.

121063 Authorizing condemnation, taking private property in fee simple for Project No. 89002672, the Swope Park Industrial Area Flood Damage Reduction Project located within an area bounded by 75th Street Terrace on the north, 77th Street on the south, the Union Pacific Railroad on the west, and Blue River Road on the east, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations and purchase by the Water Services Department; authorizing the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney on behalf of the City; and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri.

 Public Works staff will give an update on current projects and snow removal.
 There may be a general discussion regarding current Transportation and Infrastructure issues.
 Pursuant to the following subsections in 610.021 of the Revised Statues of Missouri,
there may be a closed session to discuss:
Legal matters, litigation or privileged communication with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
Real Estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
Personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 & 13;
Sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12;
Negotiations with employee groups, pursuant to subsection 9.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with
every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each
committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the
equipment your license will be returned.
