180837 Amending Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new Section 2-1119 entitled Background Investigation as a Condition of Employment or Contract, making successful resolution of a background check a requirement for employment for current employees, potential employees, and contractors with access to Federal Tax Information; directing the City Manager to develop and adopt procedures for conducting fingerprinting and background investigations to implement this ordinance; and directing the City Clerk to transmit this ordinance, together with the adopted procedures, to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 1. Staff from the City Auditor’s Office and General Services Department will present an ARTS Report for the General Services' Payment Process Should Better Protect Public Resources Audit.
 2. The City Auditor will present the City Auditor’s Office 2018 Peer Review Results.
 3. There may be a general discussion regarding current Finance and Governance Committee issues.
 4. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
(5) confidential or privileged communications with auditors, pursuant to subsection 17.
(6) preparation, including discussions, for negotiations with employee groups, pursuant to subsection 9.

Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
