190401 (Sub.)Authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of not to exceed $70,000,000.00 Sanitary Sewer System Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2019A of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for the purpose of extending and improving the City’s sanitary sewer system, prescribing the form and details of said bonds and the covenants and agreements made by the City to facilitate and protect the payment thereof; providing for the collection, segregation and application of the revenues of the sanitary sewer portion of the City’s sewerage system for the purpose of paying the cost of operation and maintenance of the sanitary sewer portion of the City’s sewerage system, paying the principal of and interest on said bonds, and providing reasonable and adequate reserve funds; and prescribing other matters relating thereto; estimating and appropriating $50,300,000.00 in the Sanitary Sewer Improvements Series 2019A Revenue Bond Fund; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

 1. Staff from the City Auditor’s Office will present a Performance Audit: Improvements in Water Meter Testing Needed.
 2. There may be a general discussion regarding current Finance and Governance Committee issues.
 3. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes
of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
(5) confidential or privileged communications with auditors, pursuant to subsection
17.
(6) preparation, including discussions, for negotiations with employee groups,
pursuant to subsection 9.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with
every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each
committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the
equipment your license will be returned.
