090813 (Sub.)Authorizing acceptance of a $1,162,997.00 grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Stabilization Program to assist the City in the acquisition and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned properties; estimating additional revenue in the amount of $1,162,997.00 in the Neighborhood Stabilization Grant Fund; increasing appropriations in the amount of $1,162,997.00 to the NSP accounts; authorizing execution of a contract in the amount of $1,111,858.00 with Swope Community Builders to provide acquisition, redevelopment and administrative services to the City; and designating requisitioning authority.

ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
 1. There will be a discussion of the U.S. Department of Energy's , Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant competitive grant program.
 2. There may be general discussion(s) on current Housing Committee issues.
 3. Pursuant to the following subsections 610.021 of the revised Statues of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss: (1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communication with attorneys pursuant to subsection 1;(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2; (3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development will be in Kansas City to share information on the Department's priorities.
