180812 Authorizing condemnation and taking of private property interests for public use for Street Right of Way purposes and for Permanent Storm Drainage and Water Main Easements, and Temporary Construction Easements, for the construction, location and maintenance of the “N. Woodland Avenue Complete Streets, N.E. 96th Street to N.E. 108th Street” project, Project Nos. 70052304, 70172340, and 70182903 , from a point +/- 250 feet south of the intersection of N.E. 96th Street and N. Woodland Avenue, north to N.E. 108th Street (Shoal Creek Parkway), in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; providing for the payment of just compensation therefore; authorizing continued negotiations and purchase by the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation; authorizing the filing of the petition for condemnation by the City Attorney on behalf of the City; and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Clay County, Missouri.

ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
 1. There may be a general discussion regarding current Transportation and Infrastructure Committee issues.
 2. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes
of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:
(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to
subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with
every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each
committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the
equipment your license will be returned.
