160163 (Sub.)Taking certain actions and approving various economic development incentives in relation to the redevelopment of the vacant structure formerly occupied by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City located at 925 Grand Boulevard and related facilities located between 9th and 10th Streets and between Grand Boulevard and McGee Street, Kansas City, Missouri (the “Redevelopment Area”) by Delta Quad Holdings, LLC (the “Redeveloper”), including accepting the recommendations of the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City, Missouri as to the findings related to the Grand Reserve Tax Increment Financing Plan; approving the Grand Reserve Tax Increment Financing Plan; approving additional financial assistance for the project and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Tax Redirection Agreement in furtherance of such purpose; approving an Industrial Development Plan for the Redeveloper for the purpose of the renovation, construction, furnishing and equipping of a service facility which provides interstate commerce consisting of a hotel (the “Tower Hotel”) and a boutique hotel (the “Boutique Hotel”) and a related parking garage (the “Garage”) and of an office industry consisting of a data center (the “Data Center”), all within the Redevelopment Area; authorizing and approving various agreements for the purpose of setting forth covenants, agreements and obligations of the City and the Redeveloper or its affiliate or designee; authorizing the issuance of taxable industrial revenue bonds in a maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $135,000,000.00; authorizing and approving certain other documents and actions in connection with the issuance of said bonds; directing the City Clerk to transmit copies of this ordinance.

 2. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:

(1) legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1;
(2) real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
(3) personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
(4) sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12
 The City Clerk's Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the equipment your license will be returned.
