180939 (Sub.)RESOLUTION - Establishing the City of Kansas City’s legislative major priorities and positions on matters for the 2019 session of the Missouri General Assembly.

 1. The Legislative Committee will hear testimony regarding state and federal legislative issues from City of Kansas City, Mo departments and various community interests including non-profit organizations, government agencies, businesses, faith based institutions, interest groups and individuals. The issues will be considered by the committee to be included as part of either the City’s 2019 state or federal priorities or positions.
 2. There may be general discussion(s) on current Legislative Committee issues.
 3. Pursuant to the following subsections of Section 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, there may be a closed session to discuss:

a. Legal matters, litigation, or privileged communications with attorneys, pursuant to subsection 1;
b. Real estate, pursuant to subsection 2;
c. Personnel, pursuant to subsection 3 and 13; and/or
d. Sealed bids or proposals, pursuant to subsection 12.
 The City Clerk`s Office now has equipment for the hearing impaired for use with
every meeting. To check out the equipment please see the secretary for each
committee. Be prepared to leave your Driver`s License or State issued Identification
Card with the secretary and she will give you the equipment. Upon returning the
equipment your license will be returned.
