170569 (Sub.)Calling an election on ____________ for the purpose of submitting to the voters of Kansas City a question presented by a committee of petitioners through an initiative petition seeking to authorize the City to construct a new, single terminal at Kansas City International Airport under a plan that uses privately-arranged financing and incurs no additional City debt, but allows the City to retain fee title to and operational control of the Airport, and to demolish such existing structures at Kansas City International Airport necessary for the construction or no longer needed for airport operations, without impeding the ongoing operations of the airport.
 
ADDITIONAL BUSINESS

170589 Calling for submission to the voters of Kansas City, at a special election to be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017, a question authorizing the City to establish fees for residential rental housing inspections and permits; amending Chapter 34, Code of Ordinances, by enacting a new Article XVIII, Healthy Rental Homes, consisting of Sections 34-730 through 34-768, establishing a new system of residential rental property permitting, inspections and penalties for the primary purpose of protecting the public health and safety; authorizing and directing the City Clerk to notify the responsible election authorities of this election; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

170587 Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Section 10-1, Definitions, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject matter which changes the definition of “original package” to reflect the definition as provided in Chapter 311 of Missouri’s State Statutes.
170588 Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 10-122, Manufacturer's license for manufacture of alcoholic beverages of all kinds, and 10-123, Manufacturer's license for manufacture of alcoholic beverages containing alcohol not in excess of 22 percent by weight, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like numbers and subject matters that codify the changes to the state legislation which expands the hours of operation for a distillery; and establishing an effective date of August 28, 2017.
