180733 Approving and authorizing settlement of a lawsuit entitled Dwight Hobson v. City of Kansas City, Missouri, Case No. 1716-CV18415.
180736 Authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts totaling $196,326.00 in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to contract with nonprofit organizations selected as part of the FY 2018-2019 3rd quarter application cycle for the purposes of promoting neighborhoods through cultural, social, ethnic, historic, educational, and recreational activities from the Neighborhoods Tourist Development Fund; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

180712 Accepting and approving a one-year $394,288.00 grant award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Shelter Plus Care program for homeless services in the Kansas City area.
180719 Creation of a Kansas City Housing Trust Fund.
180720 RESOLUTION - Creation of a plan to initially capitalize the Kansas City Housing Trust Fund in the amount of $15 million for use in the five years following the effective date of the Fund.
180721 Requiring that projects which are primarily residential in nature and are seeking economic incentives in the nature of the capture and redirection, or abatement or exemption of taxes to contain a minimum of fifteen (15) percent of the projects’ total number of units being deemed affordable for households having incomes equal to or below eighty percent (80%) of the median income for all households within Kansas City, Missouri.
180722 RESOLUTION - Performance of a nexus study to evaluate the establishment of residential inclusionary zoning requirements.
180723 Amending Chapter 38, Zoning and Development Code, to authorize a reduction of certain density requirements for projects which are primarily residential, provide affordable housing for households at incomes at or below eighty (80) percent of the median income for all households within Kansas City, Missouri, and are in close proximity to high frequency transit stations and corridors.
180724 Amending Chapter 38, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 38-1 and 38-105, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like number and subject matter to expand fair housing protections related to source of income and victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
180725 RESOLUTION - Directing the City Manager to review the permitting process for efficiencies and to eliminate any barriers for development of new housing construction, particularly in affordable housing construction.
180726 Creating “safe harbor” provisions allowing for waiver of fines/liens and reprieve for further City code violations on residential properties newly acquired by redevelopers for its rehabilitation and reoccupation.
