170122 Approving and authorizing execution of a contract in the amount of $150,690.00 with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for the City to provide the Authority certain litigation services during the period from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
170126 Estimating revenue and appropriating the sum of $222,817.00 in the Water Working Capital fund; authorizing expenditures of $969,620.00 to purchase five (5) CNG trucks; designating requisitioning authority; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
170132 Approving the issuance by the City of Kansas City Missouri of its special obligation bonds in four series (collectively, the “Series 2017 Bonds”), one to finance certain projects with an estimated cost of $23,250,000.00 on a taxable basis, one to finance and refinance certain projects with an estimated cost of $20,631,937.00 on a tax-exempt basis, one to refund a portion of the bonds issued by The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Kansas City, Missouri to finance the Kansas City Downtown Redevelopment District and one to refund bonds issued by The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Kansas City, Missouri to refinance the Midtown Redevelopment Project, such Series 2017 Bonds to be issued in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $175,000,000.00; approving and authorizing certain documents and actions relating to the issuance of the Series 2017 Bonds; approving additional tax increment financing for the Linwood Tax Increment Financing Plan; renaming Fund No. 3436 the Special Obligation Series 2017 Taxable Bond Fund; renaming Fund No. 3437 the Special Obligation Series 2017 Tax-Exempt Bond Fund; estimating revenues and appropriating $6,000,000.00 in the Special Obligation Series 2017 Tax-Exempt Bond Fund (Fund 3437); designating requisitioning authority and authorizing the Director of Finance to close project accounts; declaring the City’s intent to reimburse itself from bond proceeds; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.
170133 Estimating revenues and appropriating $35,468,252.20 in Fund No. 8076, the 2017A Water Revenue Project; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

170104 Accepting and approving a $747,066.00 contract with SAVE, Inc. to provide housing services for Persons Living with HIV in the Kansas City area.
170106 Accepting and approving a one-year grant award in the amount of $2,043,272.00 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to provide funding for Ryan White Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative services.
170123 Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 10-104, Sunday licenses, 10-106, Extended hours permits, and 10-214, Consents required, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like number and subject matter which clean up and condense the consent requirement into one section.
170124 Amending Chapter 10, Code of Ordinances, by repealing Sections 10-115, 10-116, 10-117, 10-118, 10-119, 10-120 and 10-127 and enacting in lieu thereof new sections to bring these sections of the ordinance into compliance with Missouri State Statutes that eliminate liquor licenses and permits that are no longer in effect.
170127 Estimating revenue and appropriating $1,050,000.00 in the HOME Investment Fund; amending the 2015 and 2016 One Year Action Plans and authorizing submittal of a Substantial Amendment to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development for consideration; and authorizing the Director of Neighborhoods and Housing Services to execute contracts, financing agreements, and loan documents from the HOME Investment Fund with various entities for construction of affordable multi-family and single family housing units.

170097 RESOLUTION - Adopting a Digital Equity Strategic Plan to ensure all residents have equal access to the digital economy; and directing the City Manager to implement its six priorities and conduct annual reviews of the policy.
