170841 RESOLUTION - Consenting to the detachment of certain property not in Kansas City from Public Water Supply District No. 10 of Cass County, Missouri.
170848 Amending Article VIII of the Administrative Code of Kansas City, Missouri, relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, by repealing Sections 2-1075, 2-1079 and 2-1080 which revises the job classification and pay system, and enacting in lieu thereof sections of like numbers providing classification and pay scale changes to assist the City in maintaining and establishing a competitive classification and pay system.
170850 Authorizing the City Manager to accept a two year grant in the amount of $141,296.45 from the Missouri Department of Social Services; estimating revenue and appropriating $141,296.45 in the Domestic Violence Fund; appropriating $35,324.11 from the Contingent Appropriation Fund to the Domestic Violence Fund; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.
170851 Estimating revenue in the amount of $369,000.00 in the Public Safety Sales Tax Fund; appropriating $244,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Public Safety Sales Tax Fund for roof repair at the Kansas City Police Department facility at 1525 Holmes Street and Emergency HVAC repairs at the Kansas City Police Department Annex; transferring and appropriating $125,000.00 to the Kansas City Police Department to match donations received from the Police Foundation of Kansas City: and designating requisitioning authority.
170856 Reducing the Contingent Appropriation in the General Fund by $225,000.00; appropriating that amount for the purpose of funding the ongoing operations of the American Jazz Museum; directing the City Manager with respect to the existing contractual relationship with the American Jazz Museum, Inc.; providing for certain assets to be managed under the oversight of the Parks and Recreation Department as of May 1, 2018; establishing a task force for the purpose of developing and implementing a strategic business plan for the assets; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
170857 Authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to execute a term and supply contract with Heritage Environmental Services, LLC, for Project No. EV2355, Household Hazardous Waste Operation for up to fourteen months; and authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to amend the contract and exercise six (6) one-year renewal options.

170727 RESOLUTION - Adopting the 2017 Update of the Citywide Business Plan including City Goals, the Financial Strategic Plan, and the Balanced Scenario of the Five-Year Planning Model; and directing the City Manager to align departmental strategic plans and business plans to the Citywide Business Plan.

170838 Accepting and approving a one year $267,322.67 contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to provide funding for the Building Blocks Home Visiting program that promotes a healthy and safe parenting and home environment.
170847 Accepting and approving a one-year $201,269.13 grant from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services that provides funding for the Maternal Child Health Services program.
170852 Amending Chapter 10, Alcoholic Beverages, by repealing Section 10-185, Prohibited interest in license, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject matter which will allow a person that is of good moral character to apply for and receive a liquor license and clarifying what financial interests are prohibited.
170853 Amending Chapter 10, Alcoholic Beverages, by adding a new Section 10-109, Unlawful for licensed retailer to purchase from other than licensed wholesaler, which specifies that a retail liquor license holder can only purchase alcoholic beverages from a liquor licensed wholesaler.
 
ADDITIONAL BUSINESS
 1. Staff from City Auditor’s Office and Health Department will present an ARTS report for the Communicable Disease Prevention and Public Health Preparedness Division Performance Measures audit.
 2. Staff from Kansas City Fire Department will give an update on Response Times and EMS Collections.
 3. There may be a general discussion regarding current Neighborhoods and Public
Safety issues.
