In advance of issuing the bonds, the Water Services Department has requested $12,800,000.00 to meet the immediate capital needs of the Water Services Department for various improvements to the waterworks system. The advance of $12,800,000.00 has been approved by the City's Budget Office based on a reimbursement of the funds from bond proceeds associated with the future issuance of Water Series 2007A Revenue Bonds. The 2007A Bonds will be the first tranche of water revenue bonds to be issued under the August 2005 Voted Authority. The date of issuance has not yet been determined. A list of the projects to be financed by the bond proceeds is under a separate attachment.
