ORDINANCE NO. 100528

 

Authorizing the Director of Information Technology to execute a contract with the Regional Justice Information Service Commission and the Board of Police Commissioners to provide implementation and conversion services for the replacement of the existing court management system.

 

WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department requires the acquisition of technical and professional services to implement the replacement of the existing court management system for Municipal Court and Police; and

 

WHEREAS, the City and Board of Police Commissioners have determined that Regional Justice Information Service Commission should provide such services; and

 

WHEREAS, the Contract is entered into by and between the City, the Board of Police Commissioners and the Regional Justice Information Service Commission; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Information Technology is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, a contract in the amount of $1,980,506.00, with the Regional Justice Information Service Commission and the Board of Police Commissioners for implementation and conversion services to replace the existing court management system, with funds previously appropriated in Account No. AL-3230-181330-E. A copy of the contract is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
