ORDINANCE NO. 100247

Accepting a grant from the Kansas City Power and Light Company in the amount of $467,000.00 to provide weatherization services; estimating revenue and appropriating $467,000.00 in the KCPL Home Weatherization Grant account of the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund; designating requisitioning authority; and becoming effective May 3, 2010.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to accept a grant from Kansas City Power and Light Company for the purpose of providing weatherization services in the amount of $467,000.00.

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund is estimated in the following amount:

11-6380-550001-481280 KCPL Home Weatherization Grant $467,000.00

Section 3. That the appropriations in the following account of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund are increased by the following amount:

11-6380-555804-A KCPL Home Weatherization Grant $ 95,000.00

11-6380-555804-B KCPL Home Weatherization Grant 342,000.00

11-6380-555804-C KCPL Home Weatherization Grant 15,000.00

11-6380-555804-E KCPL Home Weatherization Grant 15,000.00

$467,000.00

Section 4. That the Director of Housing and Community Development Department is designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 11-6380-555804.

Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect on May 3, 2010.
