ORDINANCE NO. 120615

 

Authorizing the Fire Chief to enter into agreements with specific jurisdictions to provide fire department emergency services.

WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Missouri Constitution and its implementing statutes, political subdivisions of this state may contract and cooperate with each other for a common service; and

WHEREAS, the cities and villages listed below want to pay an annual fee for Fire Department services in their jurisdictions and will maintain liability insurance coverage for Kansas City, Missouri, which has the facilities and capacity to provide such service to those areas; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Fire Chief is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with each of the following jurisdictions to provide services within the boundaries of said jurisdictions for a fee specified below for fiscal year 2012-2012. Copies of the agreements will be filed with the City Clerk.

Village of Ferrellview $ 11,358.00

Village of Lake Waukomis 93,873.00

City of Northmoor 53,982.00

Village of Oakview 22,514.00

City of Platte Woods 52,734.00

TOTAL $234,461.00
