ORDINANCE NO. 100248

 

Accepting a grant from Kansas City Power & Light Company-Greater Missouri Operations to provide weatherization services to its Greater Missouri Operations (Formerly Aquila territory); estimating revenue and appropriating $70,000.00 to various accounts of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund; designating requisitioning authority; and becoming effective May 3, 2010.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to accept a grant from Kansas City Power and Light Company for the purpose of providing weatherization services in the amount of $70,000.00.

Section 2. That the revenue in the following account of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund is estimated in the following amount:

11-6380-550001-480740 Aquila Home Weatherization Grant $70,000.00

Section 3. That the appropriation in the following accounts of the Supportive Housing Rehabilitation Loan Fund are increased by the following amounts:

11-6380-555802-A Aquila Home Weatherization Grant $ 8,000.00

11-6380-555802-B Aquila Home Weatherization Grant 57,000.00

11-6380-555802-C Aquila Home Weatherization Grant 2,000.00

11-6380-555802-E Aquila Home Weatherization Grant 3,000.00

$70,000.00

Section 4. That the Director of Housing and Community Development Department is designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 11-6380-555802.

Section 5. That this ordinance shall take effect May 3, 2010.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
