18 acres generally located at the southwest corner of Wornall Road and W. 81st Street from Districts R-1a (single family dwellings) and R-2b (two family dwellings)

BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0725, rezoning an area of approximately 18 acres
generally located at the southwest corner of Wornall Road and W. 81st Street
from Districts R-1a (Single-Family Dwellings) and R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings)
to District R-4 (Low Apartments), said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0725. That an area
legally described as:
All that part of the
north 26 and 2/3 acres of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section
18, Township 48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri that lies
east of the east line of Jefferson Street, except that part described as
follows: Beginning at the intersection of the east line of Jefferson Street and
the south line of 81st Street; thence south along said east line 675 feet;
thence east 78.48 feet; thence North 41 degrees 37 minutes 08 seconds East,
204.74 feet; thence north 504 feet more or less to said south line of said 81st
Street; thence west along said south line a distance 200 feet to the point of
beginning and also except that part in streets.
is hereby rezoned from Districts
R-1a (Single-Family Dwellings) and R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to District R-4
(Low Apartments), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0725,
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as
a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter
and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
