ORDINANCE NO. 050442

 

Rezoning an area of approximately 15 acres generally bounded by 44th Street on the north, a line about 225 feet north of 46th Street on the south, Summit Street on the west and the vacated alley east of Pennsylvania Avenue on the east from District R-4 to District R-1b. (13335-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0622, rezoning an area of approximately 15 acres generally bounded by 44th Street on the north, a line about 225 feet north of 46th Street on the south, Summit Street on the west and the vacated alley east of Pennsylvania Avenue on the east from District R-4 (High Apartments) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0622. That an area legally described as:

 

Lots 19 and 20 Bunker Hill No. 2, and the east of the vacated alley lying west of and adjacent;

 

Lots 27 through 86 inclusive, Corbin Park;

 

Lots 6 through 10 inclusive, Block 11, Pates Addition to Westport; Lot 87, Corbin Park

 

Lots 91 through 105 inclusive, Corbin Park; Lots 1 through 11 inclusive, Bunker Hill No. 2, and the west of the vacated alley lying east of and adjacent; Lot 8, Block 3, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition; Lots 125 through 139 inclusive, Corbin Park; Lots 140 through 149 inclusive, Corbin Park and the east of the vacated alley lying west of and adjacent;

 

Lots 48 through 53 inclusive, Block 2, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition and the west of the vacated alley lying east of and adjacent; the west 122 feet of Lot 54, Block 2, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition; Lots 55 and 56, Block 2, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition and the west of the vacated alley lying east of and adjacent; the west 122 feet of Lots 57 through 66 inclusive, Block 2, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition; Lots 67 through 72 inclusive, Block 2, Edwin & Lockwoods 1st Addition and the west of the vacated alley lying east of and adjacent., all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-4 (High Apartments) to District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0622, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That a development plan for the area legally described above is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

 

 

 

 

A copy of said development plan is on file in the office of the City Clerk with this ordinance, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
