ORDINANCE NO. 051523

 

Authorizing a $57,685.46 increase in authorized expenditure for the agreement with Kansas City Power and Light approved by Ordinance No. 040905 for the relocation of utilities on North Congress.

 

WHEREAS, by Ordinance No, 040905, passed August 12, 2004, the Council authorized an agreement with Kansas City Power and Light with an authorized expenditure of $138,662.00; and

 

WHEREAS, the construction is now complete and total obligation is known; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the additional sum of $57,685.46 from funds previously appropriated to Account Nos.:

 

AL-3650-897254-B N Congress/Barry Road to M152 $34,957.32

06-3090-897282-B MO 152/N. Congress and Ramps 22,728.14

TOTAL $57,685.46

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
