ORDINANCE NO. 100874
Authorizing acceptance and approval
of an amendment to the Home Weatherization grant from the Missouri Department
of Natural Resources for the 2010 and 2011 Program Years to increase funding in
the amount of $434,674.00; estimating revenue and appropriating the sum of $434,674.00
to the Home Weatherization DNR account in the Special Housing Rehabilitation
Loan Fund; and designating requisitioning authority.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the Director of Housing and Community Development is authorized to accept a
grant amendment from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Low Income
Home Weatherization Assistance Program, in the amount of $434,674.00, for the
purpose of increasing the resources available to meet the energy needs of
low-income people and directing the City Clerk to file the attached agreement.
Section 2. That
revenue in the following account of the Special Housing Rehabilitation Loan
Fund is estimated in the following amount:

Home Weatherization Grant $434,674.00
Section 3. That
$434,674.00 is appropriated in the following accounts of the Special Housing
Rehabilitation Loan Fund:

11-6380-555250-B-G55DNR09 Home
Weatherization 339,174.00
11-6380-555250-C-G55DNR09 Home

Section 4. That the Director
of Housing and Community Development designated as requisitioning authority for
Account No. 11-6380-555250.
