ORDINANCE NO. 120210

Accepting a $3,914.00 grant award from the Office of State Courts Administrator Domestic Relations Resolution Fund.

WHEREAS, the Family Court Committee of the Supreme Court of Missouri, through the Office of State Courts Administrator (“OSCA”), awards funding to Missouri Circuit Courts for the creation and implementation of domestic relations programs; and

WHEREAS, Kansas City, Missouri, and the Newhouse Shelter are eligible applicants under the rules and regulations and were jointly awarded a grant to provide court advocacy and assist women and children seeking help in escaping domestic violence; and

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Attorney is authorized to accept a $3,914.00 grant award from the Office of State Courts Administrator Domestic Relations Resolution Fund.

 

Section 2. That revenue in the following amount is estimated in the following account:

 

12-2470-130001-471380 Project Survivor to Safety $3,914.00

Section 3. That $3,914.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Domestic Violence Shelter Oper Fund to the following account:

 

12-2470-135404-B Project Survivor to Safety $3,914.00
