Authorizing contracts with Guadalupe Center ($95,547.00), KCMC Child Development Corporation ($135,000.00), Kansas City, Missouri School District ($86,000.00), Operation Breakthrough, Inc. ($133,850.00) and United Inner City Services, Inc. ($95,546.00) for child care services.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That contracts between the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services and the following agencies are hereby authorized and approved in respective amounts not to exceed those listed to provide child care services from funds heretofore appropriated in the 1994-95 City Budget to Account No. 95-100-057- 2060-B:

Guadalupe Center $ 95,547.00 KCMC Child Development Corporation 135,000.00 Kansas City, Missouri School District 86,000.00 Operation Breakthrough, Inc. 133,850.00 United Inner City Services, Inc. 95,546.00 TOTAL $545,943.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
