ORDINANCE NO. 090869

 

Declaring certain real property surplus to the Citys needs and authorizing the Director of General Services to offer for sale the vacant property located at 4520 Benton Boulevard, Jackson County, Missouri, and the improved property located at 5005 Swope Parkway, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

WHEREAS, all City Departments have been notified that this property is not needed by the City and no interest has been expressed in retaining the land for future public use; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Council finds and determines that the properties located at 4520 Benton Boulevard and 5005 Swope Parkway owned by the City of Kansas City are surplus to the Citys needs.

 

Section 2. That the Director of General Services is hereby authorized to offer for sale the vacant property located at 4520 Benton Boulevard and more particularly described as follows:

 

Sec-27 Twp- 49 Rng-33 NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 & SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW& Ly W of Benton Blvd (Ex Sts).

 

Section 3. That the Director of General Services is hereby authorized to offer for sale the improved property located at 5005 Swope Parkway and more particularly described as follows:

 

Boulevard Heights, Lots 74 through 78.

 

Section 4. That the Director of General Services is hereby authorized to enter into such contracts as may be necessary to effectuate the sale of the properties located at 4520 Benton Boulevard and 5005 Swope Parkway.
