Authorizing the Director of Finance to execute a contract with US Bank for wholesale lockbox processing.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to execute a contract with US Bank, on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for the wholesale lockbox processing services related to collection of pet licenses, earnings taxes, aviation tenant payments and other general payment to the City. The term of the contract is one year with options to renew for four additional one-year terms.

Section 2. Funding for fiscal year 2003-04 contract and renewal terms is subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
