COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 961233

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0001, rezoning an area of approximately .45 acres generally located at the southwest corner of St. John Avenue and Cypress Avenue from District C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0001, rezoning an area of approximately .45 acres generally located at the southwest corner of St. John Avenue and Cypress Avenue from District C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0001. That an area legally described as:

 

All of the east 25 feet of Lot 98, all of the west 40 feet of the north 100 feet of Lot 99, all of the east 10 feet of the north 100 feet of Lot 99 and the north 100 feet of Lot 100, all of the south 45 feet of Lot 99 and Lot 100, all in Corrected Plat of Abington Park, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby rezoned from District C-2 (Local Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0001, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
