RESOLUTION NO. 180975

 

Amending the Greater Downtown Area Plan by changing the recommended future land use for the property bounded by 25th Street, 26th Street, Troost Avenue, and Forest Avenue from residential low and residential medium to residential medium-high density. (CD-CPC-2018-00178)

 

WHEREAS, an application was submitted to amend the Greater Downtown Area Plan as it affects the property bounded by 25th Street, 26th Street, Troost Avenue, and Forest Avenue from residential low and residential medium to residential medium-high density; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission considered such amendment to the Proposed Land Use Plan and Map on _________________; and

 

WHEREAS, after all interested persons were given an opportunity to present testimony, the City Plan Commission did on __________________, recommend ____________ of the proposed amendment to the Greater Downtown Area Plan; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Greater Downtown Area Plan is hereby amended by changing the recommended land use for the property bounded by 25th Street, 26th Street, Troost Avenue, and Forest Avenue from residential low and residential medium to residential medium-high density, and specifically described as follows:

 

TRACT 1: All Lots 12 and 13 except the west 10 feet of said lots in Troost Avenue, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 2: Lots 14 and 15, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 3: Lot 16, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 4: All of Lot 17 and south one-half of Lot 18, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 5: The east 165 feet of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 6: The south 25 feet of the east 165 feet of Lot 3 and the north 40 feet of the east 165 feet of Lot 4, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 7: Lot 5 and the south 10 feet of Lot 4, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, except that part in Troost Avenue, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 8: Lot 1, Block 3, Beacon Hill Townhomes, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.


TRACT 9: Lot 2, Block 3, Beacon Hill Townhomes, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 10: Tract E, Block 3, Beacon Hill Townhomes, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 11: Lot 1, Block 4, Beacon Hill Townhomes, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

TRACT 12: Lot 2, Block 4, Beacon Hill Townhomes, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

TRACT 15: Intentionally deleted.

TRACT 17: The north half of Lot 18, Block 5, Continuation of Beacon Hill, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

Section B. That the amendment to the Greater Downtown Area Plan is consistent and complies with the FOCUS Kansas City Plan adopted on October 30, 1997, by Committee Substitute for Resolution No. 971268, and is adopted as a supplement to the FOCUS Kansas City Plan.

 

Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed area plan amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings have been held as required by law.
