ORDINANCE NO. 050850

 

Authorizing a Lease with Midwest Airlines, Inc. at the Kansas City International Airport for building and ground space at 241 Paris Street and estimating additional revenue in the amount of $35,248.00 in the Aviation Services Area Land Space account of the KCI Airports Fund.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into a five year Lease with two five year renewal options with Midwest Airlines, Inc. at the Kansas City International Airport for 20,808 square feet of building space and 60,441 square feet of ground space specifically at 241 Paris Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64153. A copy of the Lease is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That additional revenue in the following account of the Kansas City International Airport Fund, No. 8300, is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

06-8300-620000-470310 Aviation Service Area Land Space $35,248.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
