Estimating and appropriating to
the 2006 GO Bond Fund to continue construction on the Robert J. Mohart
Multi-Purpose Building projects; authorizing the Director of Public Works to
enter into a $123,220.00 contract with Tevis Architectural Group for Project No.
890A0404 Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose Building; authorizing the City Manager
to expend $123,220.00; and declaring the intent of the City to reimburse itself
from bond proceeds for certain expenditures.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the
revenue in the following account of the 2006 GO Bond Fund is hereby estimated
in the following amount:
AL-3392-120000-590000 Proceeds
from Sale of Bonds $1,500,000.00
Section 2. That the
sum of $1,500,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of
the 2006 GO Bond Fund to the following account of the 2006 GO Bond Fund:
AL-3392-898823-B-890A0404 Robert
J, Mohart Multi-Purpose Building $1,500,000.00
Section 3.
Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into a $123,220.00 contract
with Tevis Architectural group for Project No. 890A0404, Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Building.
Section 4. That the
City Manager is hereby authorized to expend funds from the following account:
AL-3392-898823-B-890A0404 Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose Building $123,220.00
Section 5. That the
City declares its intent to reimburse itself for certain expenditures made
within sixty (60) days prior to or on and after the date of this Ordinance with
respect to the Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose Building (Project) with the
proceeds of bonds expected to be issued by the City. The maximum principal
amount of bonds expected to be issued for the Project is not to exceed
$80,000,000. This constitutes a declaration of official intent under Treasury
Regulation 1-150-2.

there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation
to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance,
otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which
payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
