COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR RESOLUTION NO. 970261

Approving the reappointments of Dr. Susan Wilson and Reverend Nelson Thompson and the appointments of Sandy Krigel, Ana Valdez, Shirley A. Phenix, Reverend Jane Ralph, and Waymond King as members of the Human Rights Commission.

WHEREAS, Section 38-61 of the Code of Ordinances establishes the Human Rights Commission of Kansas City, Missouri; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council hereby approves the reappointment of the following to be members of the Human Rights Commission:

Dr. Susan Wilson Term expires: July 31, 1997 Reverend Nelson Thompson, Chairperson Term expires: July 31, 1998

Section 2. That the Council hereby approves the appointment of the following to be members of the Human Rights Commission:

Mr. Sandy Krigel Term expires: July 31, 1998 Ms. Ana Valdez Term expires: July 31, 1998 Ms. Shirley A. Phenix Term expires: July 31, 1997 Reverend Jane Ralph Term expires: July 31, 1997 Mr. Waymond King Term expires: July 31, 1999
