ORDINANCE NO. 020941

Reestimating and appropriating revenue in the amount of $3,600.00 to the Property and Relocation Services account of the General Fund and authorizing execution of an Amended Relocation Services Agreement with the Housing and Economic Development Financial Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, for relocation services provided for the Washington Wheatley Neighborhood Improvement Project by the City.

WHEREAS, the City Council in Ordinance No. 991085, authorized a Relocation Services Agreement with Housing and Economic Development Financial Corporation for relocation services provided for the Washington Wheatley Neighborhood Improvement Project by the City; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reestimated in the following additional amount:

02-100-064-6209 Relocation Fees $3,600.00

Section 2. That the sum of $3,600.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

02-100-064-2020-B Property and Relocation Services $3,600.00

Section 3. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute an Amended Relocation Services Agreement with the Housing and Economic Development Financial Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, for relocation services provided for the Washington Wheatley Neighborhood Improvement Project by the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for which the City will receive the additional amount of $3,600.00 for its services for a total amount of $7,200.00. A copy of the Amended Relocation Services Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
